Artificial Sensory Chain
Danny Wild kindly invited Kieran Browne and I to show off some of the code art we’ve been working on. I used one of my assessment pieces which was movement responsive through the use of a webcam. Originally my intention for the piece was to have a viewer interact with it directly. After speaking to some people and reading a bit about installations, I wanted to use it in a less ‘gimmicky’ way. What we devised was a bit of an influence train. Danny played music, Kieran’s work responded to the music, and my work responded visually to the movement of Kieran’s work.
