Capacitive Sensing Experiments
Today I revisited an experiment from the ‘Body Electric’ class I took while studying abroad at RISD. My teacher, Paul Badger, is actually the author of the CapSense library which made the lesson incredibly insightful as he was able to explain how the library worked and even demonstrated possible applications.

The second video is an example of one of the possible applications of this technology; detecting when you have made contact with a person, or an object which has a capacitive charge. This effect is illustrated by the change in pitch when a second person makes contact with the original person touching the sensor.
